Hello!

I’m Kim, the creative mind and origami aficionado behind Orikim, my Etsy shop nestled in Clarksville, TN. My love for origami goes way back to when I folded my very first crane as a little kid—I was absolutely over the moon! That joy has stuck with me ever since, driving my passion for creating these intricate pieces.

Beginning of 2024, I’ve been diving into crochet too, adding a new twist to my creative journey. It’s been such a fun ride exploring different crafts and uncovering new ways to channel my creativity. 🧶

But when I’m not crafting, you’ll probably find me out by the lake or some peaceful spot with a fishing rod in hand, soaking in the serenity. I’m a big fan of bird watching too; there’s something really cool about spotting different species and admiring their colorful feathers. And let’s not forget baking—there’s nothing like the smell of fresh cookies or perfectly baked banana bread to get those creative juices flowing! Oh, and I’m a bit of a gamer as well. I love escaping into different worlds and going on epic adventures right from my home. Whether it’s fishing, bird watching, baking, or gaming, I’m always finding new ways to have a good time!

These hobbies bring so much joy and inspiration to my life, and they definitely influence my creations. They add a touch of nature’s beauty and a whole lot of heart to everything I make.
